| The authors analyze(1) The direct effects of slope on fire behavior;(2) characteristics of local wind and fire behavior on simple terrain,(3) characteristics of local wind and fire behavior on typical terrain stream system terrain based on fundamental theories of Fire safety sciences, Fluid Mechanics, meteorlolgy, geography, and field survey of wildland fires, and also propose some cautions needed by fire fighters in fighting mountain fires. |
