| Based on the variation of the surface temperature field of the electric circuitry and equipment, mathematical model and the corresponding database are built in the paper to diagnose the hidden troubles of the electric circuitry and equipment. This system seeks to integrate the infrared thermal\|image detection technology, heat transfer, electrotechnics and computer technology for the online thermal diagnosis. The resulted system can be used to finish the online non\|contact diagnosis and thereby determine the trouble position accurately. The system can also be utilized to find out the position with abnormal temperature, and at the same time to determine the degree of the hidden trouble and forecast the possible development degree of the trouble. |
