| The article presents the method of evaluation of fire and explosion hazards in run away reactions. The ambient temperature at whom a runaway may occur , the reacting temperature for a runaway and the time for the reaction velocity to reach the maximum can be predicted by a vessel time constant and the characteristics of its heat transfer. The theoretical solutions compare well with the experiment results. |
