| The paper introduces the combustion properties of the silk fabric and the development history of the flame-retardant on silk fabric, summarizes the flame-retardant methods and the detailed techniques of the flame-resistance finishing. The flame-retardant properties of all the methods are evaluated in the paper. The flame-retardants used on silk fabric and the flame-retardant mechanisms are indicated. The main existent deficiency in silk flame retardance is pointed out, and the development trend in the future is indicated. |
