| In this paper, the production process of ferrous sulfide in oil tank and principle of spontaneous combustion by ferrous sulfide were explained. The simulation experiments were carried out on the production process of ferrous sulfide in oil tank and the oxidation experiments of ferrous sulfide were also performed. The experimental results showed that the oxidation and output heat of ferrous sulfide from oil tank corrosion production account partly for spontaneous combustion of the oil tank. |
