The equations on the two-layer fire zone model ASET for a chamber with air supplied through leakage are solved by the symbolic mathematics programme MATLAB and MAPLE V. Two key equations are considered. A total number of 12 simulations were carried out on two design fires in six compartments with floor area varying from 10 to 100 m 2 . The results are compared with those simulated by ASET itself and another software FIREWIND. |
