The premixed flame structures of methane with ethanol and some typical free radicals pilot are simulated in this work by using a detailed chemical kinetic model developed by Marinov,which contains 56 species in 372 reactions.Computations are performed using the Sandia CHEMKIN-3 and the premixed flame code.The thermodynamic and transport properties are taken from the databases of Sandia National Laboratory and Marinovs research group.The variations of main products,key intermediates and minor species in flames are predicted and computational results show that it reduces ignition delays of methane greater with ethanol fuel and radicals. Premixed flame structures under three conditions are computed in this paper in order to find out the influence of ethanol used in methane fuel : flame A expresses premixed CH4/O2/N2 flame,the second presents premixed methane-ethanol flame,the last one,flame with seeding radicals into methane-ethanol blended fuel.Besides,the methane flame with seeding radicals and methane flame induced by ethanol are compared. |
