| Based on the fire statistics of China cities from 1982 to 2001, the fire occurrence rate is divided into several levels. Markov chains are applied to forecast the level of cities fire in 2002 and 2003. This method is used to verify the fire occurrence ratefrom 1992 to 2002 with consistent results obtained. |
